Small Wins Still Count

Just checking in to share a small but happy update: for the first time in ages, I placed in the semifinals of an illustration contest. It’s not a huge deal, but it felt really good—definitely a much-needed timeline cleanser.

I’d show you a photo of the award, but I’m cheap and don’t feel like upgrading my Wix subscription - my storage is full (priorities, right?). That said, the image below is the piece that landed me in the semifinals, which honestly still blows my mind—especially since it doesn’t even depict movement. It’s a statue.
