A Family Affair in Higher Education
Last year, my son and I were both in college—an arrangement that felt equal parts surreal and exhilarating. I’ve since graduated and am taking a gap year before beginning my bachelor’s degree (fingers crossed, permanently). My son is now in his final year of Diesel Mechanics, grease under his nails and momentum on his side. And just as one chapter steadies, another cracks wide open. My daughter—my baby—has been accepted into her college of choice to study neurosciences. Life
